Everyday Living Support

for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities in Richmond, VA

Life's Little Tasks, Handled

For many seniors and adults living with physical disabilities, it's not the big things that make daily life hard — it's the small ones. Bending down for the mail. Standing at the sink to wash dishes. Carrying a laundry basket up the stairs. Opening a stubborn package.

Our Everyday Tidying service takes those tasks off your plate with regular, reliable visits from someone you know and trust. No agencies, no rotating strangers — just consistent, judgment-free help from Home to Home Services.

— WHAT A VISIT CAN INCLUDE

Built around what helps you most

Every client's needs are different, so we shape each visit around your routine — no two task lists look the same.

Rides & Outings

Driving you to appointments, grocery shopping together, dry cleaning pickup, pharmacy trips, and everyday errands.

Mail & Packages

Bringing in your mail, opening packages, and breaking down the boxes.

Laundry

Washing, folding, and putting clothes exactly where you can reach them.

Light Tidying

Straightening living spaces, taking out trash and recycling, keeping walkways clear and safe.

Dishes

Washing, drying, and putting dishes away — no more long stretches at the sink.

Everyday Odds & Ends

Changing a lightbulb, swapping seasonal items, resetting the things that drift out of place.

Riding together to an appointment. Walking the grocery aisles side by side. Chatting on the way to the dry cleaner. For many clients, it's the highlight of the week.

— MORE THAN A HELPING HAND

For clients who don't get out of the house much, our visits are about more than the task list. These outings become something to look forward to.

You'll work with the same friendly, familiar person every visit — someone who knows your routines, your preferences, and your favorite grocery store. It's practical help, delivered with genuine warmth.

A friendly face you’ll look forward to

— LET’S BE UPFRONT

What this service is not

Clear expectations make happy clients — here's exactly where we fit.

Not a cleaning service

We don't scrub bathrooms, mop floors, or deep clean kitchens — that's what professional house cleaners do best, and we're happy to work alongside yours.

Not medical or personal care

We don't assist with bathing, dressing, medication, or health needs — but we happily complement home health aides and caregivers by handling the household tasks outside their role.

Pairs beautifully with your existing cleaning service.

Your cleaner keeps the home clean; we keep daily life running smoothly in between visits. Together, it's a complete support system for living comfortably at home.

— A DAY IN THE LIFE: REAL CLIENT

What everyday support really looks like

One of our regular clients lives with a physical disability that makes standing at the sink, reaching into the fridge, and getting out to run errands genuinely painful. So every week, we show up and take those tasks off her plate — the dishes, the tidying, the grocery run, the ride to her appointment — and reset her kitchen so it works with her, not against her. Small things, done consistently, add up to a home she can move through comfortably and a week she doesn't have to dread.
