When this lovely couple reached out, they had a home full of decades of beautiful living — floor-to-ceiling built-ins lined with carefully collected books, delicate pottery, cherished Staffordshire pieces, framed artwork, and a lifetime of meaningful objects that deserved to be treated with the same care it took to collect them.
This stunning blue built-in was the heart of the home — a curated display of decades of collecting. Staffordshire dog figurines lined the shelves alongside black ceramic pieces, a bold orange vase, framed portraits, stacked art books, matching lion lamps, and row after row of hardcover books. Every item carried history and required individual wrapping, careful labeling, and intentional handling.
The same room that once held a carefully curated collection now stands completely empty — shelves bare, floors clear, and every precious item wrapped and boxed with care. Stacks of labeled U-Haul and Olympia boxes line the room floor to ceiling, organized by category and destination room. The blue built-ins that once showcased decades of collecting are now spotless and ready to be left behind.
The living room entertainment unit told the story of a life well-lived — every shelf filled with wicker baskets collected over the years, framed family photographs, decorative figurines, clocks, books, and personal keepsakes. While deeply personal and meaningful, the sheer volume of items across every surface meant that packing this room alone would require careful, methodical hands and plenty of time.
Every item from the entertainment unit and living room — the baskets, the collectibles, the books, the memories — now safely packed and stacked in clearly labeled moving boxes along the wall. The furniture is staged and the floor is clear. What was once a full, layered living space is now organized, protected, and ready for the movers to load.
The walk-in closet was fully loaded — clothing folded across every shelf, shoes lined up along the floor, hanging items packed tightly on the rod, and accessories tucked into every available corner. A beautiful custom shelving system was completely hidden beneath years of accumulated clothing and personal items, all of which needed to be sorted, folded, and carefully packed for the move.
With every item packed and removed, the custom closet system is fully revealed for the first time in years — floor-to-ceiling shelving, a dedicated hanging rod, built-in drawers, and generous square footage that had been completely hidden beneath a full wardrobe. The space is immaculate, empty, and ready. This is what 22 hours of careful, organized packing looks like when it's done right.
